Winter Steelhead and Walleye on the St. Joseph River out of Berrien Springs Michigan.  Growing up in Berrien Springs, I know just how incredible the Steelhead and Walleye fishing is on the St. Joseph river which is why I go back every year. 10+ Steelhead days are not uncommon and the walleye action can be non-stop at times.

 

March & April

This is the Spring Steelhead Spawn when fish migrate into the Big Manistee River from Lake Michigan to Spawn.  This is the time when everybody want to go Steelhead fishing on the Big Manistee so Book early and Get ready for some awesome Steelhead action with fish averaging 6 - 12 pounds.

 

May &June  

Hot Hot Hot Walleye Action on Saginaw Bay "The Worlds best Walleye Fishery.  This is the place to take a Kid fishing and introduce them to what catching is all about. Don't miss out on a freezer full of Walleye.

 

July and August

We are not fishing for Salmon we are slaughtering the Salmon. Limits are the norm not the exception and it's common to have multiple fish on at one time.

 

September & October

It's Big Time fun with Big Time King Salmon on the Big Manistee river, whether its back bouncing spawn or Casting plugs.  Big King Salmon with Crush what ever is on the end of your line.  Get Ready for Big Fish.

 

November & December

While everyone one is in the woods at this time of the year.  Some of the years best Steelhead Action is taking place.  The Big Manistee River fills with Fall Run Steelhead and with almost nobody fishing.  You have all the fish to yourself.  But Please keep it a Secret.

 Fish the World Famous Trophy filled waters of Michigan.  Linwood Beach on Saginaw Bay for Spectacular Spring Walleye Action and Manistee Michigan for "World famous" Summer King Salmon.  Our Spring Walleye season starts May 1st fishing the best walleye water in the world "Saginaw Bay" and we continue to fish this water until about July 15th.  Then it's time to head across the state to Manistee for Trophy King Salmon. Captain Jay is always on top of the action, an innovator and was one of the first to discover the deep water trolling of Lake Michigan taking Salmon at depths of 400'+.  Only a few have managed to figure out this deep water trolling, and Capt. Jay is one of the best. Linwood Beach and Manistee are ports of Trophies, planning a fishing trip, expect to catch fish don't limit yourself fish the most productive waters of Michigan for Walleye, Salmon and Trout at the best time of year.
