The Manistee River is host to one of the Biggest Fall runs of Chinook "King" Salmon every year, and with over 30 years of experience chasing these salmon, Capt. Jay has the knowledge to put you on these fish and get you hooked up with a Monster.

The Fall and Winter Steelhead fishing (November & December) is incredible, much better than the spring time run. Far less traffic on the river. The fish are bigger, more aggressive, and readily chase down a fishing lure or gobble up your spawn.  The Spring Steelhead run is good, but the fish get spooky as this is the time when everybody in on the river.
